Hi, I am Sara.
I am just looking for advise regarding my study permit situation. I am a Colombian living in Colombia and I have submitted an study permit and TRV application to study a Online Master i Nursing Thesis - Research Posgraduate Program in Canada, Bristish Columbia. After 4 weeks on my submission I received a passport request, so I sent my passport and got my TRV after 1 week. However, after that I received a letter saying that I must expedite my study permit once I arrive to Canada and in that letter they also say that I should present an IME if required, do they tell this to every study permit applicant?
I have read all the IME requirements and I might be eligible because I will study a healthcare science ,but I haven't receive any IME request or something like that. I have tried to reach out IRRC but I am not getting any response from them and my studies start date is in 2 months. What should I do? I don't hold a Nursing license in Canada so I can't work there, and my program is Online and 100% into thesis and research. As per the webpage, Colombians don't require a IME.
It's been almost 2 months since the application and I am afraid they will reject my study permit once I arrive to Canada because of this, but they haven't requested any IME for me!
Thanks for your advice!
