I have just been awarded refugee protection and Im preparing to apply for PR.
Here is the situation. I want to sponsor my wife and child who have been separated since 2011 and residing in the uk. My wife left me cause i cheated on her(long story), but we never got a divorce. Im willing to work it out with her and sponsor her and my child so we can start all over again, clean slate.
Here is the problem(if its actually a problem), my wife had claim asylum in the uk because we got into a physical fight but she was rejected. Since then, she has been in the uk for over 2 years undocumented. The government still has her passport etc, and wont give it back till she decides to leave the uk. They neither have asked her to leave either.
So what Im asking is this, can i apply for pr for her and my child in my application, and shall i do it through the London, UK office, or do i have to do it through the caribbean office where we come from originally?
Are there any other issues i should be aware of? Any extra advice anyone can give?
Thanks so much guys. Any advice is deeply appreciated.
