Candidates with scores above 400 points are encouraged to apply for Permanent Residence under one of the 3 categories in Express Entry. If you have a score below 400, there are other options to gain Permanent Residence status via PNP (Provincial Nominee Programs).

I remember registering on Sunday Feb the 10th. Yesterday the Monday the 13th of Feb i received a message telling me that i meet neither the Express Entry nor the Provincial Nominee Programs, even before i have a chance to check the job bank !

I'm majoring Business administration , have more than 7 years of experience , aging 30 years and my score in EILTS is 7.5 , broken down as follows
Reading-9
Writing -6.5
Listening-6.5
Speaking-7.5

Any idea what went wrong ?

did you check the funds requirement ? it has changed recently...

i could not for the life of me understand how the score came upto 504, with your scores it should be around 400 only...

i'm not good with this scoring thing but every immigration consultant told me that i'm very qualified and so did the CIC Survey
i have placed 12000 as funds . Certainly i can do more but as far as i know they require 11000 $
is it good enough already ?

assuming u r single and not canadian educated. I have tried to put all details mentioned above in crs calculator and u scored around 400 points.

Im not sure how u scored 500 pts.

But then u r still eligible for express entry and have good scope for improvement in score if u retry and improve ur IELTS.

Pls use cic calculator again and try to put d details accurately again

its over 12.5k or around that mark... certainly not <12k.

and yes - you added canadian work experience. have you worked in canada before ? if no, you need to remove it...

FYI - a consultant is trained to even convince a monkey that he is very qualified and he can easily apply for canadian immg and he will get it in 6-7 months... us humble unworthy humans are nothing in front of him :) :)

please send me a link and i will recalculate
in regards to the points and as u mentioned even in 400 i should be eligible , so why my application was rejected already ?
i will try editing the funds to 13000 and see what happens

if min funds is less than what is required, then you dont qualify for EE. as simple as that... :)

for eg : if you have done a driving test, you will need to pass road test, parking test, written/computer test etc.. if you fail one, you fail the driving test... :) (apologies but couldnt think of a better example :P )

Increase it to 13000 dollars for the safe side. It was previously 12,100 something but last week it got revised to 12,300.
