Hello to all,

If I made my PR application inside Canada under Express Entry FSW, can I go back to my country and wait there for decision to be made?

I am currently inside Canada and waiting for ITA under FSW. My visitor visa expired on February 28, 2018. I am hooping to receive ITA sometime soon with my score 444. If I receive the ITA and submit all sometime in January, I want to go back to my country and wait for PR decision there.

Is that ok to do so? some people say I won't be able to come back with Landing paper. Some people said my application would be in-land application so I must stay in Canada until decision is made.

But is there in-land v outland FSW application which to be made online?

Can I just update my address to my home country, wait there for the decision, get a landing paper, apply for PR card and come back when everything is done?

Please help ! Thank you

Forgot about what you heard. You are free to travel anywhere before or after you submit your application. You can update your address at anytime which you will have to anyway to send your passport to your local visa office if your application is approved. Also, if you apply inland, you don't have to stay in Canada until you have a decision on your application. Good luck!
