If I have a representative for my file, will I get any update about my file via email?

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

I have lodged my file last month. I have a representative for the same. But as my gckey account is linked with my representative's account I can't log in to my own account.
I wanted to know if there is any update will I get an email about the same? or only my representative will get an email about it?
