If I divorce during the process of PR, how will the permit and process go?

Hi, I can't believe that I'm writing this question..
Now we are in process of PR by MPNP and now it's in process.
I'm principal applicant and have closed work permit and my spouse has spousal open work permit.
If we get divorce, how will my spousal permit and process become?
Will the permit is expired or is it able to be kept?
How's the process? My spouse can't get PR and will be stopped for the process?

Thank you for reading.

You'll need to report to CIC about your marital status change.
Your work permit will remain valid and spousal open work permit will become invalid.
As you are primary applicant, you will keep your PR opportunities, while your spouse will lose it.

when they ask for your passport, they ask you if there's any changes. If so, you have to tell them, if not then you can go ahead and send the passport and land. If you don't tell them you got divorced and send the passport off, you might get some serious issues. Serious enough to get your PR removed. Be careful and good luck.
