I have a secondary work permit visa that I am holding right now.
I have been working for 2 yrs in canada as a software engineer. But my pr score is very low. I tried to increase the score in english test for a few times but no lock so far.
So I decided to get more scores from other ways such as gaining more work expirence year and so on.
Therefore, I am considering applying for a brand new open work permit. Since my work permit is stil valid until next year Augest, I can apply a new work permit.
But if I apply now, and get approved right away, what is going to happen to my remaining secondary work permit?
Is the new open work permit going to be effective (start) after my current work permit ends, or overwirte the remaining?
