if do courses online are we still eligible for post grad work permit? was thinking about doing courses online for petroleum engineering and was wondering if i would be able to get a post grad work permit after that or do i actually have to attend class to get it?

Study permit are only granted for courses taken in person. You don't have to come to Canada if your program can be taken online. So no study permit and no PGWP for online programs.

yes you can do online classes. I talked to the international adviser and the CIC and they said the same thing. We can have online classes but make sure that majority of your class will be face to face. you can have 1 to 2 online classes
