Hello Everyone

I have applied for AINP under SRS - Post Grad. Worker category in June 2014. My job was in NOC C at the time of my application. However last week I lost my job and don't have any job right now. So if any of you have gone through the same situation kindly share with me. How to resolve this situation, what to do next, and how would it effect my application.

Any recommendations or guesses will be welcomed.

So far I have only received a confirmation email.

Thank You

hello,

One of my friend has similar situation and he was laid off and he applied under Employer driven stream.
He then called and explained situation to ainp and they were helpful and said that he could continue with his application.
same thing happened to me mine was different category though my application wouldn't be refused if i got laid off from my job. When i Called Ainp and inform them my situation they were polite and gave me the same reply.
So as far as AINP is concerned they are helpful as far as my experiences are concerned.
All the best!

Cheers,

Ramu

Thanks a lot Ramu I appreciate your response. I know I have to let them know after I get my file number. Just want to know should I have to have a similar kind of job before I get my file number. I mean to say do I need to be working in the same occupation or one of the eligible occupation when I inform them. Because it is hard to find a job in an eligible occupation based on my education and experience. Please share your thoughts.

Thanks a lot

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi im basically in the same boat, I have applied through PhD/Masters category in SINP. Selection criteria at that time was like this

You intend to live in Saskatchewan and are able to demonstrate your ability to settle and work in Saskatchewan with at least one of the following:

1) Have at least six months of employment history in your field of training in Saskatchewan;
2) Are currently employed in your field of training or have received a job offer in your field of training in Saskatchewan for a term longer than six months;
3) You have enough money to sustain for a short time without work ($10,000 for you and $2,000 for each accompanying family members.
I have already received my nomination and file with the CIC (already done medicals and paid RFPR) , pretty soon my job contract will be over (I worked there more than 6 months) and still I couldn't find another job. Seniors please advice what to do.

once you got your nomination Province wants to stick with you. I don't think they care about which category you are working for. Its my own idea and experience.
