HI My name is Manan Dagli.

I am planning to lodge my ffederal skilled worker file in June. I have given IELTS in Academic module and my score is Listening 7.5, Reading 7, Writing 6.5 and Speaking 6.5. So do I need to give IELTS in General Module?

UR ACADEMIC SCORE IS USELESS.

Yes IELTS general training is required for immigration. Thanks

Note: IELTS offers ‘General Training’ and ‘Academic’ options. Only the ‘General Training’ tests are accepted for CIC purposes.

I think academic is more difficult ,so u will get through general with great results

Yes, many people think so.
But, the truth it is not more easy or difficult that it is different.
So, you need to prepare for GT even you went for Academic before.
Someone I know was asked to submit GT instead of Academic (which was submitted with the application). Since the person did not do any serious preparation since sitting for Acadmic IELTS score GT was lower than for Academic.
Therefore get yourself ready for GT. Don't take it for granted.
