i gave ielts in sep 2014
is that good enough for me to apply for EE now?
or shall i appear for a new IELTS?

What will your score be if you apply now? If you expect to recieve an ITA in the next couple of draws you should be safe applying now...if not, if your scores are lower than the current trend of draw scores better to give IELTS again...

IELTS report is valid for 2 years. Look for the validity statement as it should be mentioned somewhere on your IELTS Report. If you got your report in 09/2014 then it should be valid until 09/2016.

So you can create EE profile using 09-2014 IELTS report.

But you need to check what happens if you don't get an invitation by 09-2016 as by then your 09-2014 IELTS report expires ?
