Dear all,

My sopuse IELTS results expire (due to 2 year validity) in july 15 2013.
if we apply as primary application as she in may, does this results are valid.

i feel if my file open after july the results must be expire so file may return

If you sent your IELTS out before it expires, it should be ok.

actully i am worry if they open file after july (when score is expire) do they consider that date or file received date.

I believe they consider the date that your file is received.

Hi!. we have the same dilemma. mine will expire on sept 2013. i understand that ielts is valid for two years.. however im confused if they will consider the received date or the date they actually open and check the eligibility of our app. im thinkng of re-taking jsut to play safe.. however the next GT exam is on april 27 which is just a few days before the expected filing of application. im afraid that the cap will be reached by the time i got my ielts score.....

even here one more issue is no IELTS dates available nearby till June!!!

the two years starts from the date you took your IELTS test to the date they receive your file.

no need to re-take your test
