there are some OK institutes in knowledge village... you can use those... but they are usually pretty expensive.
british council doesnt offer coaching themselves, as far as i know....

I inquired about it yesterday,
They informed me that we have to go thru a placement test and based on that they will decide we fall into which category.

There is an intensive course for 33 hours (total 2 weeks ) and extensive course for (42 hours)

They conduct some classes and give us an idea about IELTS + they have practice test

how good is your english ?? if its above average, i dont really think you need that much coaching... seems like quite a bit of brainwash to me

When i spoke to them, that i already fall into Upper Intermediate Group 3, my speaking skill are good, but writing is damn bad, I am very bad in essay or letter draft..and I have even never scored a good marks during my schooling.

So I dont want to gamble with IELTS and get a low CRS points. :(

OK - well good luck then... make sure you practise hard, there is absolutely no substitute for practise trust me

give it lots and lots of time... and be prepared to write the test 2 times, i dont want to discourage you or anything but sometimes its helpful to write a test once, learn from your mistakes and give the test 2nd time (thats if you can afford it)

Thanks a Lot..I already know that I will be writing the test 3 times due to my writing skills :P and I am prepared for it.

Just want a idea how to handle it

there are several books online to improve writing tips... there is a IELTS specific thread which discusses everything...

Do you have any link available with you..If yes, please share

naah man, sorry. but like i said check other threads in ielts subject line here, there are people who have these ebooks and are willing to share also

Yes I have already requested them to send link..
I saw profile in your signature..Are you still waiting to get ITA instead of getting CRS 422 and you have also applied for IONP but still waiting.

So it is quite tough I think
