I submitted initial application without IELTS RESULT. I AM ACCEPTED. WHICH MEANS I GOT 67 POINTS FOR IMMIGRATION THATS WHY I M ACCEPTED - M I RIGHT? NOW I M APPEARING FOR IELTS TEST ;SCORE TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH FULL DOCUMENTS . PLZ TELL ME IF I HV TO SCORE GOOD OR IT DOESNT MATTER MUCH , AS I ALREADY SCORED MINIMUM 67POINTS. THOUGH MY ONLINE ASSESSMENT GAVE ME 72 POINTS WITH ENGLISH LANGUAGE TAKEN AS MODERATE???

It might help in them perceiving whether you can adapt and be successful in Canada. I think if you get 8 points for English ability, that should be okay.

I GUESS THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT I CAN ADAPT. as i hv been to canada 3 times( short periods) and travelling around the world for the last 15 years and have worked in a multinational. so wont they give any weightage to that?

I am sure they will. You said you got 72 with moderate right? and moderate is 8 points? If you get moderate, all this is moot point anyway.

hi last illusion ,\
you are well adapted why dont you go for the kill score high and ensure that visa officers are forced to accept you :)

well i guess i may not be able to score good in writing module.
one more thing , about ten yrs back i got the immigration and i even landed in canada , stayed for a month and than decline the immigration as my father wasnt well then and later he died. tens yrs back even the interview was waived off. so i was just wondering
what the least score i need to get through the immigration ?

I don't think there is a set minimum score for language adaptability. It might be that it is dependent on the officer.
