Hello,

I was wondering if there is any difference between 8/7/7/7 and 8/7.5/7.5/7.5.
(Listening/Reading/Writing/Speaking)

I believe both are CLB 9. but does the latter one make any difference when it comes to the score for express entry compared to the former one?

Your answers will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Sorry but 8/7.5/7.5/7.5 is still CLB 9 because in order to be CLB 10, the reading score should be 8 or above.

What I wanna know is whether or not there is any difference between two different results with the same CLB level when it comes to the score for Express Entry.

I never talked about the reading score did I? My answer stands - CLB 10 for two sections, writing and speaking, CLB 9 for the other two.

Now that you have this information you can google "CRS breakdown" and see the difference in scores.

Oh, alright.

This is something I never thought of.

I did not know that the total score for language proficiency could differ.
I thought ... when it comes to calculating the score, cic take the ILETS results into account as a whole.
you know what I mean? I never expected that the results could be broken down, and each section was scored differently, and the total score would differ depending on the CLB level of each section.

This is something I should have known about.
I do appreciate your sharing such significant information with me.

Best,
