IELTS Score

HI ,

Can you please help , I have already given IELTS exam and I have score of overall 6.5 Band, R-5.5,S-6.5,W-6.5,L-7 and overall CiC score of 459 , can anyone tell am I eligible for express entry?

Hi Vineet,

Depending on which Express Entry program you belong, there are different minimum levels. You can see more details here:
cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language.asp
As you can see, if for example you are going for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, you have to meet the minimum level of CLB (i.e. 7), which corresponds to IELTS score 6, in all four language abilities. In this case, it appears you do not meet this requirement, since you have one language ability (Reading) where you scored less than 6.

You can use the online tool to check whether you meet Express Entry's eligibility requirements:
