Hi, received my IELTS score yesterday. The score is as follows

Speaking = 6.5
Writing = 6.5
Reading = 8.5
Listening = 8
Overall = 7.5

Is this score good enough for securing 16 points. On CIC website it is mentioned that candidates scoring 6.5-9 band can claim 4 points each for speaking, writing and reading whereas for claiming 4 marks in listening the band has to be from 7.5 to 9

Looking forward for your replies

it looks like yes, you'll get all the required maximum score

If you can increase your score to 8 777 (8 in listening) you can get upto 100 additional points

You have

Listening: CLB 9
Reading: CLB 10
Writing: CLB 8
Speaking: CLB 8

So no, you don't have the maximum. The maximum is CLB 10. To get that you would need

Listening: 8.5
Reading: 8
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 7.5

L8,777 would get you a CLB 9 across the board.
