IELTS score expires

I took my IELTS in this Feb but I cannot apply for PR until this Nov, so my scores will expire between the period of FN and DM.

Do I have to take another one again?

Your scores are valid for 2 years. Since you took it this February, it's valid until February of 2016 - Whoever told you it will expire before this November is 100% wrong.

Can you share the sources of this update?

As of today - on CIC's official website still says

"Your test results must be less than two years old when you apply."
