Hello,
I am a B.Tech graduate (WES already done). Age 33. Due to my age, I need to score maximum points in IELTS. In CRS calculator, I can see the following as the maximum individual bands:
Speaking: 7.5 - 9.0
Listening: 8.5 - 9.0
Reading: 8.0 - 9.0
Writing: 7.5 - 9.0
I am assuming these are IELTS bands (the score we get after taking IELTS). Speaking and Writing is not a problem for me. But, in order to score 8.5 on Listening, I need to score 37-38 questions correctly out of 40. Similarly, in order to score 8 on reading, I need to score 37-38 questions correctly out of 40.
37 / 40 is not an easy task by any measure and that too in 2 sections. Is my understanding correct that I need 37 / 40 on both Reading and Listening to get maximum marks for IELTS in CRS? I really wonder how many people are able to do this.
Thanks!
