Ielts retake for one skill acceptable?

I'm planning to take the IELTS General to apply through FSW under express entry . Currently living abroad, I anticipate having sufficient scores for the application. If a retake is needed for a specific skill, would it be acceptable and potentially boost my overall scores?

NO. IRCC doesn’t accept one skill retakes.

It's not accepted. This is a very well known fact.
