Hi,

I lived in Canada as student and I am interested to apply immigration in FSWP category and I attempt IELTS exam 2 times and my score is :

Feb 2012
--------------
Listening 6.5
Reading 6.0
Writing 5.0
Speaking 6.0
overall 6.0

For improving my IELTS score I attempted again in August 2013

Listening 7.0
Reading 4.5
Writing 6.0
Speaking 5.0
overall 5.5

So please suggest me will i submit both reports because in first attempt I maintain 6.0 band in listening, reading and speaking and in second attempt I got 6.0 in writing as well. So please let me know is I fulfill the requirement.

Best Regards,
Burney

No, you can't mix and match. You have to get 6 across the board to qualify for FSW1, so neither will qualify.

Thanks PMM for your reply. Is any link or information which confirm this to get 6 band in single report ?

There has been a discussion about this already 3 years ago.

Please go for another exam. If you compare the results from your 2 tests, you can see that you have the knowledge for the passmark but you just need to concentrate more. :)

This is very usefull link. http://www.ielts-blog.com

Good luck

Hello burney

As per latest rule for English proficiency minimum CLB level 7 is required in all four language areas. For English CLB 7 corresponds to 6.0 band in all modules of IELTS. Check the following link.
