IELTS Result Withheld. Test taken date - 4th August

Hi all,

I took IELTS test 2nd attempt in Coimbatore on 4th August. My IELTS result was supposed to be released yesterday. But I got a mail saying my result is withheld due to some quality control and stuff. Anybody else has the same problem? Is it because of the second attempt, because i dint had any problem during my first attempt. Can some one please clarify?

no need to worry you will get it soon ,,it happens sometime for security and quality purposes,,,

Same situation.... it was my first attempt on 4th Aug thru IDP Mumbai for academic, still no update cant do anything than waiting... :'(

Sure. Expecting the result by tomorrow. :| Lets hope for the best..

I have given my test today on 30th july but untill now I haven't receive it british council is saying just for waiting

I'm facing the same situation too..took the IELTS (G) with IDP at Calicut on 4th Aug..my results are yet to be released..when contacted via email, got reply that the results will be released soon but can't commit on a time frame..this is just a standard response.hopefully we'll get the results by next week...anyone getting the results please update soon..stay positive guys..

Got update by SMS, saying, results are still under process due to quality control procedures. The next update will be provided via sms on 2nd Sept,
