IELTS requirement for Skilled worker NOC A

Hi,

Hello,
I need a clarification whether i am eligible to apply for PR in CEC class under Skill A Category.

I got an overall score of 6.5 as below.

Listening : 6 (CLB 7)
Reading : 5.5 (CLB 6)
Speaking : 6.5 (CLB Cool
Writing : 6.5 (CLB Cool

Can some one please let me know whether i am eligible to apply for PR in CEC class or not?

Your score is too low to apply for CEC. You need a minimum of 6 in each category to qualify for CEC. If you apply with the score you have today, your application will be automatically refused. You need to retake IELTS.

Thanks Scylla, i have already been nominated by a province under skilled A category. Am not applying for CEC. i just took the test out of my own interest to have additional points.

all i want to confirm is that when you have been nominated by a province for skilled worker category A do u need an IELTS test result to be sent with your application to CIC.

i know of category C and D have to produce IELTS test result, but i dont know the stand for Category A and B now.
