IELTS Re Exam after application of immigration

Hello,

I have passed IELTS exam in Sep,2010 & then filed for "canadian immigration" under FSW 0213 category. My file is under process right now.

So, I would like to know the expiry of IELTS certification,as it is almost 1+ year old. (Sep,2010 to Sep,2011 & today is Feb,2012)

Reliable sources are saying that IELTS lasts for 1 Year only, So is it necessary to give IELTS exam again & submit the new score to Canadian Embassy?

Your reliable sources are wrong. IELTS results are valid for two years.
