Even if I took the IELTS test and I will not submit the results since I need to get a higher band and I will re-take it, do I still need to put in the application that I took it?
Thanks.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
In the application, you have to estimate how many points you get. It helps if you can take the IELTS before you apply because you can calculate your points accurately instead of guessing but if the IELTS you have is too low and you will not have 67 points with it, then you have to try to take it again. You do not have to tell them you took an IELTS with a low score but when they ask for IELTS, you will have to provide one that gives you enough points to keep you at 67 or higher total.

But in the application it asks if I have taken the English Test. Now, yes I took. However, I only get 14 points and I need 16 points and I will re-take the test. However, If I put in the application I did not take it yet, on the test results I received it will show if I am repeating the test and date. When I take it for second time, it will show the info for the first. Will that be a problem when I send the results to them for the second test and it wil show I took it before and on the application I put down I did not take it?

Thanks.

Just say you took it, but don't send it with the application and claim the highest points to make it up to 67 (in case you are the border line). Keep repeating the test and get 16 and then send the results to CIC.

Re: IELTS score and point

AOR - December 2008. Want to appear IELTS again for better score> have exactly 67. in the past system, scoring 7 or above 7 in any band implies 4 point. but the recent data... high proficiency will mark 4. And how much score needed to stand for high proficiency is not mentioned? Any body have better info pls share. 2nd, Is there any change in the scoring system. previously, a person can score 16 points maximum in the enlish language with all the band 7 or >7.

Happy new year and best regards, Joyful
