I applied for a study permit under non-SDS with Duolingo on 6th of March 2021. Would it have a negative impact on the application since there is no IELTS attached to the application? I know for non-SDS IELTS is not required, so are several other documents which we still attach to make our case strong.
I gave IELTS (had 5.5 in one of the modules) in 2019 but misplaced the IELTS report, so in the questionnaire when it asks if I have given IELTS I had to say yes (couldn't lie) but didn't attach it. Used Duolingo instead with a 135 score.
Should I give IELTS exam again and send the results by webform?
Disclaimer: I attached Duolingo as an additional document to give some evidence of language proficiency, not as a mandatory document like in the case of SDS it is.
