IELTS near expiry and applying for application

Hi guys,

My IELTS validity is expiry on 22nd of this July and I am about to apply for immigration process in early June. Someone asked me to retake the exam and then apply but I think there shouldn't be a problem. What is your opinion?

I think it should be fine as long as they received your test results before your expired date

No - from my own personal experience, I submitted my application a month before my IELTS expired date and by the time they opened my file, my IELTS had already been expired. But since it was received by CIC before the expired date - it wasn't a problem

So as long as it's received before its expired date - the results should be fine

I asked in another topic but I will ask here too my Ielts is valid till 30 th of June. I want to apply to FSW next month. What if i send the application before that date and they receive it after 30th? Or to send it earlier ?

I am sending my documents for the FSWP2014. My ielts test was taken on 09th June 2012. I believe my Ielts test is getting expired on 09th June, 2014.

I am sending my documents tomorrow on 4th June 2014. The UPS is promising to deliver the same to Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street, Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2 Canada by 4:15 pm on 09th June 2014.

Will my IELTS result will be still valid and the application will be considered valid as both the date of expiry of the ielts and date of delivery of document to the CIO office is same?

Also, the date of delivery to CIO office is considered as the date of receipt of the application by officials at CIO?

Really appreciate your help.
