IELTS General Wrting task confusion?

Hi Friends,
Please share your General IELTS writing experience in both tasks.

I have confusion in General Writing task that will come with some charts for General test? or that all charts test will goes to academic exams, I never used chart systems and I really don't understant thoese charts (specially double bar charts).

I need to know Task 1 and Task to for writing examination will just some topic like essay writing than I am fine with it.
Please share if you already get > 6.5 to 8bands in writing.

Hello,

general IELTS, task one would be a letter, to claiming,thanks,request etc topics and task 2 would be a summary about a given topic which may request you either agree/disagree, argument or discussion like advantages/disadvantage.

So, in simple mean, first a letter and then a summary.

This forum has a separate section for IELTS only, just go to main page and find that section, you will it useful preparation.
