IELTS (General Training) exam required for dependent spouse?

Hi,

I am eligible under CEC category (worked in Canada for more than 1 year in last 3 years) for immigration. So first thing I am going to do is I have to apply under "Express Entry" program.

It is mandatory (for main applicant) to give IELTS (General Training) score while applying for "Express Entry" program.

My question is: Dependent spouse need to give IELTS exam? If Yes, what will be the score required for her?

10 points for spouse English proficiency atleast 5.5 is ok

It is not mandatory for your spouse to appear for IELTS, but you'll miss out on her CRS points, the same goes for the ECA too. If you are including your wife as an "accompanying" spouse (makes her eligible for PR) you'll gain on points for your spouse's ECA and IELTS.
