Guys,

For Canadian skilled immigration I have taken IELTS

Last Aug 2012 I have taken IELTS general test and I got
L - 6.5
R - 5.5
W - 6
S - 7

Inorder to improve reading I have taken IELTS again this 8th DEC 2012 and I got
L - 6.5
R - 6
W - 6.5
S - 5.5

Got Improvement in Reading by getting 6 but in speaking I got only 5.5

In speaking will they consider 7 or 5.5 ?

or do i need to again appear for IELTS general test Please advice !

You either send them your first or second results. you can't mix scores.

Hello,

Why did you take the IELTS exam second time? Your first test scores are also sufficient for applying Skill Type A level job.

To meet the language requirements for skill type A, you need to have:Benchmark 6 in one ability, Benchmark 7 for two abilities, and Benchmark 8 for the remaining ability. So both your test scores are sufficient.

Can you please tell me what do we mean by Skill Type A level job ?

I want to apply for federal skilled immigration.

Can you please let me know the link
so that i can go through the information which you specified.

Thx in advance
