Ielts general or academic for physiotherapist

I'm vasanth from India, i plan to move Canada, as a first step i have to take IELTS but which one should i take Academic or General? I booked IELTS academic through British council but 1 week ago i had attended one emigration service webinar in which they told ielts general training is first requirement to meet EEP, after that and before appearing PCE you again required to take IELTS in Academic. Is it right im tottaly confused. Kindly help me. Thankyou.

If you want to immigrate / apply for PR, you must take the general test. Your occupation is irrelevant.

To take PCE, you need academic.

So if you want to do both of these things, you will need to take two separate tests.
