IELTS for the spouse of principle applicant.

I am planning to move Canada.My wife is looking for skilled immigration & she is principle applicant. As a spouse is it mandatory for me to appear in IELTS? If i have to then what should be my bands score?

Is not compulsory you write. If you do, irrespective of your score, you can't add more than 20points

If your wife is the principal applicant she will have to give IELTS and score the best possible IELTS band. As a deperndant spouse if you give IELTS as well, you will be add additional to her express entry profile
