IELTS for CEC application

Hi,

I am going to apply my PR application by the end of this month. I have all the documents ready in my hand but there is one query....!!! In the document checklist, it says that the IELTS result must be sent in the original. I have only one original copy which is not sealed and one of my friend told me to get the sealed copy. Now, can I submit the open original IELTS copy or I need to get the another sealed copy?? If yes then how can I get the sealed copy and how long does it take..? If any one have any idea about it then please help me...

I dont think you need to submit a sealed copy. There is no way you can change the scores after you open the seal. Also, how will you be able to know your final scores without opening the seal

DoN't worry, open the seal and send the score card along with your application.

Thanks, but my friend submitted the sealed copy when she applied her PR under federal skilled worker... and she hired a lawyer who insisted her to get the sealed one.

I too sent my IELTS score card but not sealed. dont worry about that, send your score card.

OK thank you friends so now my applications is ready to go but if you guys have already applied then can you tell me where should I mail my application...?

No need to worry about the seal. When I spoke to IELTS folks on the test date, they told me that CIC has a habit of confirming scores, if they suspect any irregularities. According to them, they would phone the local test center where it was take and confirm with them.

Hi friedns thanks for the replies.

I have few more queries...
Do I need to provide the documents from my other work from my back home from last 10 years...??? Such as offer letter, resignation letter, pay stubs etc..
Also I completed my 1 year of experience in January but still I haven't received my T4.. So should I go ahead and apply my PR file....??
Since, they updated the IMM 5610. In new checklist they have removed the Education part so do I need to submit my transcript and other educational documents....

If you have completed 12months, you should have your assessment from last year right ? May be you can include that in your document list, and you can write a covering letter explaining that you will submit the assessment letter once you get it.
