Yes, IELTs General. If you don't have 1 year, then you aren't eligible for Canadian Experience Class, Also you need 1 year experience in the list of 29 if you are applying under FSW1

No IELTS = Incomplete application

This is a strict rule even you have used English language all your life. Also one year experience is the minimum requirement to be eligible :)

Thanks guys for your reply ....... so do i need 1 year experience for Skilled class in field of my studies or any field in 29 list could do it ? i worked as chef while i was in school for 3 year which is in noc list does it count ? ...does it make me apply for the skilled class ? ...and i did an internship in my field for 4 month can i count it as experience ?

First - IELTS is a MUST! General IELTS not academic.

You need 1 year exp in ANY of the 29 listed NOC in the last 10 years. So your chef exp does count. You can apply with that.

If your internship was full time paid employment, yes, it will count. Otherwise not.
