IELTS expired - Application in process - Please advice

Seniors,

I have applied to CEC and got AOR.

My IELTS score was valid and less than 2 years while applying but 1.5 years old.

Got recent notes from CIC and it says my IELTS score is verified in year 2014 itself.

Now after this March 2015, my IELTS score crossed 2 years and become invalid.

I have not yet received MR from CIC yet.

At this stage, would I require to appear for new test or it does not required?

From CIC website it is told that the score should be valid only while applying.

Can someone please respond if your IELTS results should be valid through out the length of your application process.

Or once the application is submitted and in process, expired IELTS score would be ok?

Seniors pls help - response to this will help in most of applicants under this status, due to snail face of current CEC processing

If your app is accepted by CIC and considered complete , received AOR then no need and especially when there is no notification from CIC...which means its under process and nothing is needed at this moment ...Regards..

IELTS needs to be valid till AOR. Doesn't need to be valid all the way through getting PR.

What if ielts expire during process and i only got the application number...they return back my application..does it mean im back to zero?

Hi guys
I have received an invitation to apply for the express entry. all my documents are ready but my ielts score is getting expired on 15th of feb 2016 , is it ok if i file my application before the expiry date ? or do i have to apply for ielts again ?

Hi Guys,

I believe that IELTS still varies on the NOC of your initial application and LOA. Per checking on CIC site, applicants who fall to NOC C and D are required to retake the IELTS once it expires during the process. I have the same scenario, my IELTS also expires during the process. But my NOC on my LOA is D. I hope that I would not undergo to another IELTS exam. ??? :-[ :-X
