I wanted to know who corrects the IELTS general writing module? is it the local examiners or is it sent to Cambridge?

I am aware that the local examiners mark the exams and grade candidates

Do you think writing in a small city will help in getting better score? Just wanted to know because i have been score 6.5 in writing twice.... need better score.

Because IELTS have marking standards its difficult to tell whether the exam location can impact your score
Prepare very well and I'm sure you will do well
