IELTS British Council or AEO/IDP for Canada?

Hello Everyone,

I am on work permit in Canada and my wife is in Pakistan. I will hopefully be applying for PR soon and had a question about IELTS.

I am aware that I need to do General Training but I wanted to ask that in Pakistan if my wife appears for IELTS General Training through AEO board instead of British Council will it be an issue?

I wanted to know if it matters if IELTS test is attempted whether through British council or IDP board as long as it is General Training.

I had the same question but then a guy told me, IELTS is IELTS. it doesn't matter if you take it with BC or IDP.
