Hi guys,

My mrs will be the prinicipal applicant. She has a b com, ma and mba degrees. Iam apply with her as a spouse. Our main goal is express entry or pnp. Please suggest the least bands/overall band required for my mrs and myself. Also we are goin to access our credentials from WES soon. Shall we give ielts exam now or wait for the accessment results?

How to calculate our points? If i add my information as spouse, would it help boosting the points altogether? Iam an intermidiate and have 8 years of experience and can score 7 overall band

Thanks, i have checked, our points are coming up pretty low seems like between 380-390. I will try again
Hey, You just need to get 8777 bands in IELTS and your score will boost at least to 440 and higher. I gave my IELTS exam three times to get that score but it was so worth it. I got my PPR request in just 43 days after submitting the application. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes. It does. You don't really need 8777 but the higher you get, more will be the points added in language section of spouse. I would advise you to give British exam as this is what I have observed, IDP gives 6.5 in at least one module but I got the bands in British. Here are my exam results -

IDP attempt 1 -
Listening - 9
Speaking - 8.5
Writing - 6.5
Reading - 7.5

IDP attempt 2 -
Listening - 9
Speaking - 9
Writing - 7
Reading - 6.5

British attempt 1 -
Listening - 8.5
Speaking - 8
Writing - 7
Reading - 8

I hope this helps. Luckily in my case, I didn't have to claim any points for my spouse's education and her language proficiency hence I don't know how much points would have been added if she would have appeared for the exam.
