IELTS Bands and retake guidance needed...

Hi seniors,
I am going to appeared my IELTS general training at Santa Monica California ESL center on May 8th, 2010.
I have doubt if I got 5.5 bands and I will go for retake to get high band. but If I get some low score like e.x 5bands so, can I submit my first score band 5.5 or I have to submit latest retake one (5band).

1. You can't mix and match. You can submit either the first one or the second one, not both.

WRITING TIPS:--do the practice test under exam conditions by completing each test in one hour(use a stopwatch/timer).Keep to the suggested time of 20 minutes for writing task 1 and 40 minutes for the writing task 2.

It took me a good three weeks to prepare myself for IELTS Test. Did not attend any class. However, if I have known this Forum, My Score would be way much better. Mi overall Score was 7 Band.
Hopefully, others take advantage of this great space to learn.
