hi guy!
after utilising info from this forum, now my turn to inform the learnings. I gave GT test on 17th may. Here are the observations:
1) listening: there is no need of any anxiousness, the listenng is easy but the trick is in writing answers as u listen. u easy miss simple information. so concentrate on that. And ofcourse intelligent guessing also is must as there is no negative marking
2) reading: again easy ones, but true/false/NG has been my nemesis, work more on these guys.
3) writing: lost time in task1 completion and thats why had no revision at the end, which is crucial to correct grammer or vocab. try to finish task1 in 15 minutes, task 2 in 30 minutes, which is quite possible and then correct task1-2 by checking 2 times atleast, i bet u'll find many mistakes of ur own. that will make ur essays almost perfect.
4) speaking: there wont be any question, which can put u in stress or uncomfortable, IELTS designed this in a way that u feel confortable from starting, that way they come to know ur exact potential, so guys mugging up wont help, keep working on practice speaking and perform in the same way. it will be ok, if u make a mountain out of it, it will become a mountain for sure.
however, i am not expecting grt results i may get: L 7, R 7.5, W 7.5, S 6.5, can anybody help me, how many points these score will be counted for Canada immig purpose for FSW category.
pls help in this regard
thank you
