I'm filling my Young Professionals application and came accross this question which I have no idea and couldn't find any information online. After answering yes to the following one,

- Have you ever participated in International Experience Canada before? (required)
Yes

This one popped up, and I don't know how to answer it.

- When was the last time you participated? (required)

1. If you had an IEC work permit previously, you should know the date you entered Canada.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your prompt response.

Good, I do know that date. Is there any section in the immigration website that explains that question? Because I wasn't sure if it was the date I got my POE letter, the date you said, or the date my last IEC work permit expires.

Not 100 percent sure but generally for the IEC program they count participation as the date a POE letter has been issued given once POE has been issued that counts regardless of whether someone then comes to Canada or not.
