Hello. Thank you in advanced for any advice you can offer.

I am a Spanish citizen that is applying for the International Experience Canada Young Professional Program. Due to the grave financial situation in Spain, once I graduated, I haven´t had any luck finding a job in my field. Thus, I do not have any work experience to put down on the IMM1295 application under the employment section.

However, when I try to type N/A in the blanks that require information in order to validate the form I get a message saying that it is an invalid answer.

Am I ineligible to apply for the program if I do not have any work experience? Should I put down my internship experience as employment? I have always helped my father out in his business but was never actually employed by him. Does any of this count?

Thank you.

1. To apply under Young Professionals you need a pre arranged job. Thats why it won't work.
2. You should probably be applying under Working Holiday http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/spain-espagne/experience_canada_experience/working_holiday-vacances_travail.aspx?view=d

I do have a pre arranged job in Canada.

I'm just not quite sure how to validate the imm 1295 without putting down any job experience.
Thank you

If I were you I'd email IEC and ask for their opinion. Since work experience is not a requirement it should
be possible to find a work-around. Go to your countries IEC website and find the 'Contact Us' link. Just email
them. And it'd be nice if you could let us know the outcome.
