Hi.
I am currently in Toronto with a IEC (Working Holiday visa) working as a Software Developer (NOC A I believe) and I would like to apply next year for IEC under a different category (Young Professional) which for Costa Rica I should be able to apply from within Canada.
As per my knowledge my employer have to go to CIC and pay for CA$230 and upload the offer of employment letter, is that all they have to do? Is there something else they have to demonstrate or provide? I want to know what they need before I try to convince them.
Thanks.
PS: a friend of mine told me he already tried that years ago and the company refused since they had to demonstrate no other person was found in Canada to hire.
Also, what about the requirements for me? are they much different than the working holiday IEC?
