Hi everyone,
I was given a two year working holiday visa last year, and as such, entered Vancouver on Jan 25th. My father had a stroke on Jan 27th, so I returned home on the 28th Jan where I have remained since during his recovery. i.e didn't get a SIN number, didn't go anything with the working holiday visa while in Canada those two days.
I was wondering am I wasting my time applying under the current batch of 2016 working holiday visa's.
I am from Ireland, where you can only take part in the program once, but perhaps since I was literally in the country for two days they might consider my application?
Just wondering if anyone has any advice applying second time around when the strictly on rules they are not permitted to do so?
I spoke to an emigration consultant and there advice was to enter the pool, see if you get chosen to apply, and then explain the situation during your application.... Seems fair enough i.e not breaking any rules by doing so.
