I am looking to complete my work permit application and the final requirement on my document checklist is the proof of upfront medical exam. I am looking to stay for over 6 months, although have no interest in working in the industries that require a medical exam e.g. childcare, healthcare, and as an Australian resident I do not require an IME. Despite this, the information tab next to the medical documents suggests I do need proof of an upfront medical exam. Can anyone tell me if I am missing any key details in the criteria for a medical exam, if I do need to see a panel physician, or otherwise what supporting documents I should provide?
