IEC,Working Holiday, insurance question

Hello

I got IEC visa, Working Holiday for 365 days, I am from Poland. Anyone here have experience with insurance that is valid and be accepted at the airport? I'm planning to buy Visitor's Insurance anyway, so I only need basic plan just to get accepted into Canada

The main requirement is that any insurance includes medical repatriation to your home country plus of course emergency medical cover. UK people who have posted seem to use a company like True Traveller and their site looks as though they sell policies to EU clients but email them first. Even a basic policy for a year is not cheap given it is North America where of course medical costs for visitors can in worst case lead to bankruptcy.
