IEC Working Holida Visa 2013

Hi all,

I have been planning on going to canada next summer for 12 months through the IEC programme. I turn 31 this September so my plan was to apply about now for next year (as long as you enter the country before your 32nd birthday this is fine), however I see that they have now closed applications for 2012 and will not be accepting submissions until autumn for next year by which time I will be too old to apply! I was under the impression that applications could be submitted year round but because of this, it looks like I won't be able to do what I have been planning for the past 2 years!

Does anyone know of any way around this or any external visa companies that could help or should I just accept the fact that working in Canada is no longer an option for me?

1. Accept that you are not going to get an IEC work visa.
2. The work around is find an employer, who advertises the position and then applies for a Labour Market Opinion and then if approved you apply for a work permit.
