IEC With H&C Application Case

Hey guys, so heres the situation, im currently on IEC Work Permit which expires Aug 2018 and i have just last week filed a H&C case with CIC. I have heard they take around 30 months to review the file as its a case by case decision. So since my IEC expires next year, what can i do to stay in Canada until a decision has been made with my case. Im from the UK British citizen. Im working full time in Canada.

You'll need to stop working once your IEC expires. The H&C application will allow you to remain in Canada but without working. Once you have first stage approval - I believe it's possible to apply for an open work permit.

Hopefully you have a very strong H&C case. Approval rates are low.
