Hi

I'm just getting to my second stage CIC application and wanted some clarification on some of the forms and uploading of documents.

1.On question 8 in particular. I've been in Canada as both a visitor and a WHP worker on and off for the last few years and I'm not sure how to convey that change of status(visitor-worker-visitor) in IMM1295. Do I need to put each status change in by specific date? Like came to Canada as a visitor in ? till Working visa until ? then was a visitor then a worker etc etc?

2. Question 9 should I just tick no(currently in Canada as a visitor) or should I leave it as Australian? and following that when they ask for my residential address should I give my Canadian or the Australian one I used for my initial application? Considering my contact phone number is Canadian this seems like I should use the Canadian residential.

2. When uploading my documents, it asks for my Police certificate, does this just need to be scanned and uploaded or should I certify it, then upload? Also it isn't asking for 'traffic history' even though on the WHP site it states I need one. They initially didn't ask for a Canadian police certificate but I've seen people refer to them asking for it later in the process. Should I just apply for one now in case they ask?

3. The IEC guide says 'working holiday' people don't need to fill out the employment stuff, but should I do that anyway just in case?

4. Whats the likelihood I'll need to send in a copy of my visitor immigration document? Any other tips/tricks or stumbling blocks I should be aware of?

Thanks for all your help.
tl;dr Why does it seem like they make this all deliberately obscure?

Hi,

My wife is going through the same thing, We managed to fill out the stage two but now they are asking for a letter from the Department of foreign affairs. ???. If you want someone to talk two that is in the same boat let me know and I can give you a call. We are still waiting for the visa.
