I just applied for a Work & Holiday since my employer is not going to give me a contract until 2-3 weeks so I wanted to speed up the process a bit. I am Swedish, it says on the Embassy of Canada in Stockholm that the Swedish quota is 550 and that there are 88 left (updated July 4th). However, my number ends with 563 so I guess that's how many applied before me, and I ended up on the waiting list. Do you think I have a chance or should I give up?
I also think it's weird that IEC and the Embassy says different.
